This is our favorite campground in Florida. We camp here numerous times year around and have always found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. We have always found the bathhouses well stocked and clean. The pool and all public areas are clean and well maintained. The WI-FI does works better in some sites than others but if it is a problem the staff will allow you to change sites if desired and available. They encourage you to call with any problems or complaints and will take care of unruly, loud rude guests quickly. Well worth a look in our opinion.

This is a really nice state park campground. The sites are very wooded, shady and well maintained. The campground roads have all been paved in recent years which is good in the rainy seasons as they often used to get muddy. The beach is within biking/hiking distance and is large and beautiful. You can not drive your vehicle onto the beach. There is a large parking lot next to the beach and you have to carry all your chairs and supplies in. You can walk a short distance or as far as your legs will take you to get away from the crowds if that is what you want. As in all Florida state parks no alcohol is permitted and any glass on the beach can result is a fine. You will need to book months in advance to get a site during the summer unless you get lucky and grab a late cancellation. Enjoy.

A extremely beautiful Florida state park located in Destin Florida. The large gravel sites are well maintained, shady, wooded and clean. This is a very nice, well maintained park with the added bonus of extensive shopping and dining just outside of the campground entrance. This has to be the cheapest way to stay while on vacation and enjoy Destin. Everything from deep sea fishing to para sailing is available. The beaches here are among the most beautiful in the world. From the campsites you can hike to the beach down a long wood plank walkway or drive to the campground parking lot and carry you chairs, umbrella and cooler down to the beach from the pavilion. Highly recommend.
